Here's a quirky gift for a cat owner who enjoys a cuppa.
This textile and decoupage paper collage features a black and white cat peeking out of a pretty teacup. There's a little teabag tag hanging over the rim showing what furlavour it is!
The background has been created using layers of cotton fabric, including batiks and also pieces of decoupage paper. The teacup is cut from a section of Designer Guild fabric and the cat was printed onto cotton and then trimmed out and layered onto the collage. I've made the little teabag tag and matching gift tag from colour copies.
The artwork is in a off-white 8 inch square mount. The aperture is 5.5 inches.
The picture is signed and dated on reverse.
