Full description
Looking for way to relax? Try slow stitching with my muted metallic textile kit in silver, pewter and steel, with cream, grey and black accents. Built around a collection of reclaimed curtain samples, with co-ordinating, ribbons, yarns, threads and buttons.
This zero waste kit includes remnants from a curtain sample book I prevented from going to landfill, together with salvaged fabrics, trims and embellishments from my stage costume making, dressmaking and upholstery projects.
Each box has with a calico foundation piece, four different colours of embroidery thread, and a needle and some pins. Plus my Introduction to Slow Stitching and Stitch Guide leaflets.
Available in 2 sizes. The photos show the A5 starter box, and includes over 30 items of carefully curated vintage, reclaimed or salvaged textiles and haberdashery. The A4 box has over 40 items, including extra curtain fabrics in larger sizes, more variety of trims and a bigger foundation piece.
