The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect. Instead, retain marks, stains and scratches, part of the original character of the ceramic. All Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
The idea is to create something new from old, found by chance, full of history and character.

Additional terms
All ceramic personally collected from river banks, charity shops, recycle centres, beaches, wherever dropped, dumped or donated ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Each item comes with a short bio. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns in ceramics there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece. Ceramic will show marks, scratches and imperfections, all part of its history and journey.

I love collecting anything broken, lost or found by chance. There’s a small patch of ground beside the River Tees, Barnard Castle, heavy downpours expose all sorts of broken pot, glass, bits of pipes and wonderful oyster shells.
I found a striking shard of coloured ceramic, beautiful flowers, hand painted. After a thorough clean I gently drilled a hole and created a pendant. Sadly the ceramic broke while threading a chain through the hole so I decided to store the piece.
Recently I cam across the shard and managed to rework and sand down to make a delicate pendant.
The idea is to create something new from old and use recycled materials to produce unique jewellery. The finished piece isn’t meant to be perfect but instead retain part of the original character, including marks and scratches, all part of the history of the ceramic and materials used.
Hanging on 18 inch recycled sterling silver chain.
Set in 13 mm recycled silver bezel tray.
Both polished and hallmarked 925.
Delivered in gift box made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue.
Presented on Jewellery box insert made from tall oil, a by-product of paper production.
Complete with short bio and FSC®-certified gift bag.
All materials used are from sustainable sources and can be recycled.
