I'd already done a couple of smaller square Autumn leaves canvas paintings, and then a collector asked if I could add to the print collection.

Autumn 3 – Original Mixed Media Textile Artwork on Canvas
Rooted in the golden hush of autumn woods, “Autumn 3” is a one-of-a-kind mixed media textile painting that brings the quiet magic of the season to life.
This original piece is hand-painted in rich acrylics, with a tapestry of bead-embroidered leaves that shimmer softly, catching the light like fallen dew. A scattering of sequins adds a subtle sparkle, while carefully stitched brown fabric leaves provide a lovely earthy contrast. The tree branches—delicately couched using fine brown yarn—wind their way across the canvas and even wrap around the edges, giving the artwork a sense of quiet movement and organic flow.
The canvas measures 710mm high x 410mm wide, and is approximately 2cm deep, with painted edges for a clean, gallery-style finish. The entire piece has been lightly varnished to help protect it and enhance the colours. It comes ready to hang, with a sturdy wire attached at the back.
