Full description
A hand stamped vintage nickel silver teaspoon that says OLD (tick) and USELESS (cross) to convey the message that it (and by association its owner) may be past its prime but it can still be of vital service! An ideal small present for an oldie you know, provided of course they have a sense of humour.
This listing is for ONE vintage teaspoon (approx. 13.5cm long). You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. Please note this is a VINTAGE spoon (I would guess 1940s) that has been pre-owned and much used, so it is not all perfect and shiny and being nickel silver alloy rather than silverplate it won't polish to a mirror finish no matter how hard you try. It is, however, perfectly robust, and will give you and your descendants many years of happy stirring.
The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic waterbased acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand.
