I've always been fascinated by the enormously tall hats in museums that Welsh Women genuinely wore for a time back in the day. They are so much more elegant and impressive than the annoying, stumpy, mass produced versions we had to endure during Eisteddfods and parades when I was a child... don't even get me started on Mop Caps! I've made quite a few Welsh dress fantasy dolls over the years and felt it was time to draw them as well :o)

Full description
Tall Hat is a set of 2 postcard sized prints of my original illustrations inspired by traditional Welsh dress. One is a pen & ink illustration of a young girl wearing a Tall Hat bedecked with lace and wild flowers. The original was coloured with pastel markers then dropped on a flat pink background. The second is from my original photoshop illustration of a fantasy scene of a young girl standing on rolling Welsh hills under the moon, while 3 little moths dance around her Tall Hat.
The vibrant images are professionally printed on 350gsm card stock with a smooth matt finish to the front, while the back is blank except for the Flossimoth logo and title for you to add a message if sending as a gift. The Flossimoth watermark does not appear on your print, which will be signed in pencil at the back. To best protect your print, frame using UV glass protection and hang out of direct sunlight.
Prints are A5: 148mm x 210mm (roughly 8.3 x 8.8 inches) with no border. Each print comes in a clear cello sleeve and is sent out in a hard backed envelope.
