My OOAK Freaky Little Things dolls have been Witches, Vampires, Fairies and all sorts of Spooky-Cute Critters. I moved on to more sophisticated sculpted clay faces over the years but lately felt a yearning for their Big Eyed Spooky innocence (If there is such a thing!)... and Voila! Could it be because the leaves are starting to turn colour and Witching Season is creeping up on us? Maybe Fenella just put a spell on me :o)

It's that time of year again! Fenella has donned her favourite pointy hat and dusted off her broom, ready for the big night. Of course witch dolls aren't just for Halloween - Fenella will make a suitably spooky-cute decoration for any room all year round. She is entirely handmade by me from my own original 'Freaky Little Things' pattern and her face is hand painted as always.
I've been making OOAK adult collectable Art Dolls for more than 25 years. Fenella is a rag doll with button joint arms, contains wire and may have beads and tiny buttons on her costume - therefore not suitable for children or play. They do make excellent shelf/chair sitters for older sensible, children of course. As with all my dolls, Fenella's non-removable outfit is a mix of vintage and new fabrics and findings and unique to her.
