Full description

This scarf/shawl was handwoven in my studio on a rigid heddle loom. I was inspired by a Japanese weaving studio to create blocks of colours, working intuitively on the loom to produce a one of a kind cosy scarf/shawl. I handspun all of the yarns, using fleece from British wool producers such as Shetland, Gotland, Manx Loaghtan, blue faced Leicester, Portland and a mystery fleece from a local animal sanctuary. Some of the yarns were left the beautiful natural colours of the fleece and some were naturally dyed.

The scarf measures 152cms long and 40cms wide including fringes.

I recommend a cool gentle handwashing and a warm iron.
