Full description
Hand embroidered and felted onto a heart-shaped felt background, this pretty rose garden scissor keeper fob would make a lovely gift for a sewing friend.
White and pale pink, hand-dyed, wool fibres have been used to needle-felt three rose shapes, and some small daisy flowers, onto a green felt heart. Details of the roses, and the many flowers surrounding them, have been added in simple embroidery stitches in cotton threads.
The embroidered front panel is blanket-stitched to a back panel of beige felt. The fob is filled with polyester wadding. A loop of bright green satin ribbon provides a simple way of attaching the keeper to your favourite scissors. The fob can also be used as a handy pin cushion.
Width of fob: 6 cm approx
I have done my best to photogrpah this item accurately but monitor settings may cause variation in colour.
NOTE: scissors not included.
