Inspiration was noticing the lime green and moss green colour prints went well with some Lime cream cotton knit lace. I chose the lace for the yoke, back and front. Neck scoop is bordered in two overlapping layers of different voile prints, laid above and encasing the neck edge of the lace yoke.
The similar tones of the voile prints coordinate together very well in patchwork, and are the same weight.
Amount of fabric would not have allowed for full patchwork at back, so I cut a fitted upper back, and used an existing curve cut in charcoal grey and flowers, for a very flared lower back.

A cool sleeveless summer dress in pretty voile patchworks with cotton lace neck yoke.
Loose hang patchwork front from lace yoke. More fitted back sections of two fabrics only; top back and bottom skirt flare.
Bust size: 32-38 inch. Ideal size 34-36 inches. Due to stretch of diamonds it will fit 38 inch easily. Back length: Shoulder to hem 36 inches.
