Full description
A cheeky chaffinch bird approximately life sized sits with a curious expression.
Hand sculpted from recycled vintage bird magazines, card and newspaper. The chaffinch has legs and feet made from aluminium wire.
On his breast is the readable word ‘what?’, which I felt summed up his expression.
The chaffinch has been painted in realistic colours in Windsor and Newton acrylic paints and also given 2 coats of acrylic gloss varnish.
Please note that this sculpture is not suitable for outside use.
Dust lightly with a damp cloth when necessary.
