This has been a raw and unforgiving experience for me, and this work has been inspired by, and come from, a very dark and painful place. I’d like to hope this comes across in the pieces. My hope is that this work resonates with fellow sufferers of mental health difficulties.

This piece was inspired by a Francis Bacon painting. The agony is palpable as you feel like you’re disappearing and disintegrating. The open mouth is formed into a scream at the top of the figure’s lungs. This can explore emotional catharsis and release. All my pieces are unique one off pieces of art and never repeated unless requested via commission.
