July Birthstones - Ruby and Carnelian
August Birthstones - Peridot and Spinel
Both Peridot and Black Spinel are traditional birthstones for August and Leo.
Peridot is the transparent form of the mineral Olivine, and was mined by the ancient Egyptians, who called it 'the gem of the sun'.
These AAA grade micro-faceted beads have a vibrant lime-green hue.
The Peridot oval is a little paler, with good clarity and some imperfections.
Black Spinel is very durable and has high reflectance, meaning these beautifully cut AAA grade round beads have lots of sparkle and shine.

Full description
Dainty, lightweight sterling silver hoop earrings with AAA grade faceted Peridot and Black Spinel gemstones and a Peridot oval, separated with tiny sterling silver spacer beads.
The sterling silver hoops measure 18mm.
The 3mm AAA grade faceted Black Spinel are untreated beads from Thailand, micro-faceted to give a lovely sparkle.
The 3mm AAA grade faceted Peridot bead and 6x5mm Peridot oval are a light apple green colour.
The translucent ovals are rough cut with natural imperfections.
The beads are threaded onto sterling silver pins and attached to the hoops, whuich are stamped '925'.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, these would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, Valentine's, or as a treat for yourself.
They are particularly suited to an August birthday, as Peridot and Apinel are the birthstones for August and Leo.
These earrings measure approximately .75 inch (2cm), excluding the hoop.
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
