July Birthstones - Ruby and Carnelian
August Birthstones - Peridot and Spinel
Both Peridot and Black Spinel are traditional birthstones for August and Leo.
Peridot is the transparent form of the mineral Olivine, and was mined by the ancient Egyptians, who called it 'the gem of the sun'.
These AAA grade micro-faceted beads have a vibrant lime-green hue.
The Peridot oval is a little paler, with good clarity and some imperfections.
Black Spinel is very durable and has high reflectance, meaning these beautifully cut AAA grade round beads have lots of sparkle and shine.

Full description
This stretch bracelet features a centrepiece of a 6x5mm oval Peridot bead between a row of five alternating 3mm faceted AAA grade beads of Black Spinel and Peridot, highlighted with tine 1.8mm sterling silver spacers.
The apple green peridot oval is rough-cut and translucent with natural imperfections.
The AAA grade faceted beads add a lovely sparkle when they catch the light.
The circle is completed with a mix of smooth and frosted 4mm black Onyx beads.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, best friend - or as a treat for yourself.
Especially suited for an August birthday as Peridot and Spinel are the birthstone for August and Leo.
This bracelet measures approximately 6.5 inches (16.5cm), perfect for a 6 inch (15cm) wrist. Please contact me via the button below my shop banner if you would like it made smaller or larger.
