Full description
This design is inspired by No-Mow May and the wonderful dandelions that appear in the grass. I threw the vase on my potter's wheel in my studio at the bottom of the garden. The clay is a speckled clay which adds variety to the finish. I've used a sponge and the side of a credit card to make marks and then a needle end on a slip trailer to sketch outlines with underglaze. Finally the vase has been coated with a transparent shiny glaze and fired at 1200 degrees!
This vase measures 10cm tall and the base has a 7cm diameter. Would make a great little gift!
