Recycling the recycled! These simple but gorgeous mats are all about colour. Worked from just a random heap of strips it is always amazing to see what develops as the mat is worked. I love that the design may be the same but the end result is always different.

Full description
This vibrant mat measuring 79cm x 46cm is perfect for adding a pop of colour to your home. Each mat is unique and made with a mixture of preloved and new wool fabric.
The piece is created using a traditional rug making technique known as ‘Hooky’ in the North East of England. Strips of wool are hooked through a hessian base to produce a vibrant and colourful hanging. The hand whipped edge provides a neat and robust finish.
This mat is designed and finished so that it can be used on the floor or as a wall hanging.
