These little stud earrings are inspired by the geology of my local landscape - an ancient Jurassic coral reef on the outskirts of Oxford.

Little irregular shaped, mismatched sterling silver stud earrings, perfect for everyday wear.
They are made by melting down off-cuts of recycled sterling silver from my workbench. Each pebble of molten silver is textured using charcoal, and there is a lovely serendipity to the process - no two ever turn out the same.
Stud size - approx 5mm x 8mm
They come with recycled sterling silver posts and butterfly / scroll backs
Inspired by the geology of my local landscape - a jurassic coral reef - these earrings make perfect gifts for people who love unusual contemporary jewellery and interesting textures, or geology and the landscape. They are presented in a little branded eco-friendly gift box and recycled tissue paper - ready to give as a gift or to keep for yourself!

The silver I use is 100% recycled scrap silver from a reputable supplier, which is fully traceable and exactly the same quality and purity as unrecycled silver. It has been recovered from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. This avoids the unnecessary negative environmental impact of mining for new silver. I either send my off-cuts of silver back to the supplier for recycling, or recycle it myself, as in the case of these little studs.
