Full description
These tiny solid silver studs have a lovely texture that has been created by melting recycled sterling silver on to a charcoal block.
Working with molten silver is a serendipitous process - each earring comes out differently, so I match them up with similar ones to create pairs. Each pair therefore has its own individual, slightly mismatched character.
Dimensions: approx 4mm
Supplied with recycled sterling silver butterfly/scroll backs.
All the silver I use is 100% recycled scrap silver from a reputable supplier, which is fully traceable and exactly the same quality and purity as unrecycled silver. It has been recovered from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. This avoids the unnecessary negative environmental impact of mining for new silver.
These are lovely earrings for every day wear. They also make perfect gifts for people who love contemporary jewellery with interesting textures, or eco-conscious gifts.
Presented in a little branded eco-friendly gift box and recycled tissue paper - ready to give as a gift or to keep for yourself!
