All my jewellery listed here is sterling silver except for the silver plated upcycled cutlery collection. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings and bookmarks), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins, cutlery and pre-decimal coins and/or gemstones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.

Full description

A 1950 bronze farthing with the hand-pierced outline of the wren on the reverse side. Ideal as a present for someone who is 75 this year. The piercing is done with a fine-bladed jewellers saw, it is NOT laser cut. 2cms across. Finished with a sterling silver chain, 16 or 18inch, you choose.

Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Tracked48 service in the UK. Cleaning guide included.

Bronze is 95% copper, 4% tin, 1% zinc. It celebrated the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version.

FYI - The farthing was valued as a quarter of a penny. First used in the 13th century, it was minted up to 1956 and ceased to be legal tender at the end of 1960.
