All the wood is scraps, offcuts, donations, prunings or windfall. Even the firewood pile isn’t safe. Anything that might otherwise go to waste but looks pretty is up for grabs. The jewellery findings are all sterling silver.

Full description
A handmade circle wooden pendant necklace made from smokebush (Cotinus) with matching earrings and finished with a glossy hard wax polish. The smokebush is a beautiful wood with a golden yellow heartwood and a white outer. These are simple slices through the branch so you can see all the rings and it still has the bark which really adds texture. The earring hooks are sterling silver. It has a black waxed cotton necklace.
SIZE: The pendant is approximately 4cm high, 3.5cm wide and 0.8cm thick. The earrings are roughly 1.5 cm high, 1.7cm wide and 0.3cm thick.
The necklace is adjustable from around 30 - 80 cm using simple sterling silver crimp ends (the equivalent of sliding knots).

PACKAGING : Presented in a Progress Crafts branded gift box made from unbleached and undyed recycled card (called hairy manilla which makes me chuckle). Posted in unbleached and undyed recycled card packaging or re-used packaging. All packaging is kept as minimal and as natural as possible.
WOOD SOURCE : This smokebush comes from my garden when we removed it as it was taking over.
MATERIALS : The pendant is smokebush (Cotinus). The necklace is waxed black cotton. All the findings are Sterling Silver 925 : dropper peg, jump ring and crimp ends.
