Full description
A handmade wooden pendant necklace using a beautifully grained oak and finished with a hard wax satin polish. The pendant is egg shaped, gently tapering in thickness towards the top. The outer edges are rounded giving it a smooth feel especially with the hard wax finish.
SIZE: The oval pendant is approximately 5cm high, 4.6cm at its widest and 1.2cm thick at the base gently tapering at the top. The hole is 2.5cm diameter.
The necklace is adjustable from around 30 - 80 cm using simple sterling silver crimp ends (the equivalent of sliding knots).
SHIPPING : FREE Royal Mail “Signed For” 1st Class. Signature required upon delivery.
PACKAGING : Presented in a Progress Crafts branded gift box made from unbleached and undyed recycled card (called hairy manilla which makes me chuckle). Posted in unbleached and undyed recycled card packaging or re-used packaging. All packaging is kept as minimal and as natural as possible.
WOOD SOURCE : This oak was an off cut kindly given to me by one of friends. He got a free pendant in return which I think is a fair trade.
MATERIALS : The pendant is oak. The necklace is waxed black cotton. All the findings are Sterling Silver 925 : dropper peg, jump ring and crimp ends.
