All the wood is scraps, offcuts, donations, prunings or windfall. Even the firewood pile isn’t safe. Anything that might otherwise go to waste but looks pretty is up for grabs. The jewellery findings are all sterling silver.

Full description
An unusual and fun handmade pendant and earring set made from oak, inlaid with coloured pencils and finished with a glossy hard wax polish. The oak has a very distinct grain as it is the end grain and you can also see rays crossing the grain on the pendant. The pendant is nicely chunky but the earrings are light. The earring hooks are sterling silver. It has a black waxed cotton necklace.
SIZE: The pendant is approximately 4.5cm high, 3.5cm wide and 1.3cm thick at the base, tapering towards the top. The earrings are roughly 1.5 cm high, 1.2cm wide and 0.4cm thick.
The necklace is adjustable from around 30 - 80 cm using simple sterling silver crimp ends (the equivalent of sliding knots).

PACKAGING : Presented in a Progress Crafts branded gift box made from unbleached and undyed recycled card (called hairy manilla which makes me chuckle). Posted in unbleached and undyed recycled card packaging or re-used packaging. All packaging is kept as minimal and as natural as possible.
WOOD SOURCE : This oak comes from a church pew my carpenter neighbour was given to make into a dress/bookshelf. I was lucky enough to get the remnants. The pencils are from Freecycle.
MATERIALS : The pendant and earrings are oak and coloured pencil. The necklace is waxed black cotton. All the findings are Sterling Silver 925 : earring hooks, dropper peg, jump ring and crimp ends.
