As soon as I saw this fabric, called Coast, I knew it would be perfect for a tote bag! The whimsical print reminds me of coastal holidays and fishing villages.

Full description
Little Houses fabric quilted tote bag in shades of peach and grey on a cream background.
Fully lined with two zipped pockets and magnetic snap closure.
This bag measures 12" (30cm) high plus the length of the handles, which are 11" (28cm) long. It is 15" (38cm) wide and 4.5" (11.5cm) deep.
The exterior of this bag is a lovely 100% cotton printed fabric called Coast, by Dashwood. I have quilted it with straight lines and inserted a zipped pocket into the front panel. This has a matching black and white striped zip with gold coloured teeth and a circular gold coloured zip pull. I have also added a polished yew button which is my brand label.
The base of the bag, handles and inside top are dark grey Essex Linen fabric. I have added box corners so that the bag stands up on its' own.
I have sewn a layer of wadding inside the bag to add structure and softness and have quilted the base section and topstitched the handles and seams.
Inside the bag you will find the lining, which is a light grey tone on tone 100% cotton fabric, Bumbleberries by Lewis and Irene. I have inserted a zipped pocket with a cream zip. The bag closes with a gold coloured magnetic snap.
