Starry Sky quilted tote bag in shades of white and blue.
Fully lined with two zipped pockets and magnetic snap closure.
This bag measures 12" (30cm) high plus the length of the handles, which are 11" (28cm) long. It is 15" (38cm) wide and 4.5" (11.5cm) deep.
The exterior of this bag is a lovely 100% cotton printed fabric called Starry Sky, by April Rosenthal for Moda. I have quilted it with straight lines and inserted a zipped pocket into the front panel. This has a co-ordinating dark grey coloured zip and textured zip pull..
I have also added a polished yew button which is my brand label.
The base of the bag, handles and inside top are pale blue coloured Essex Linen fabric by Kaufman.
I have added box corners so that the bag stands up on its' own.
I have sewn a layer of wadding inside the bag to add structure and softness and have quilted the base section and topstitched the handles and seams.
Inside the bag you will find the lining, which is a co-ordinating blue print 100% cotton fabric by Tilda.
I have inserted a zipped pocket with a light blue zip into the lining.
The bag closes with a dark grey coloured magnetic snap.
