The return of the Mac!
This was another "it had to be done" project! As you might have noticed, I love all things Boho and hippie (the more beads and tassels the better!), and as macrame is back in vogue, I felt I just had to make the item that was ubiquitous to 70s home decor - the plant hanger!
Unlike the 70s, modern macrame isn't just confined to neutral tones. These days, macrame cords come in a wonderful array of shades and textures: from soft pastels to dramatic reds and even black! Many manufacturers, including the popular Anchor Crafty and Bobbiny brands whose cords I've used for these hangers utilise recycled cotton so you can relax knowing you've made a sustainable choice.
So what are you waiting for? Showcase your favourite plant babies with these beautiful hangers whilst adding some Boho style to your room!
Please note that due to availability issues, the burgundy hanger is decorated with carved and varnished wooden beads, and future hangers will be made with these beads as well.
Dimensions: approx 72 cm long from top of ring to bottom of tassel. Suitable for medium sized plant pots.
