High Wray is a working farm in Cumbria with holiday accommodation, and we had a lovely stay there some years ago. I drew the farm building while we were there, and this linocut was developed from the drawing some time later, although the original drawing was A6 - I had to enlarge it to make it big enough to be able to carve out the stones!

This is an open edition handprinted linocut of High Wray Farm in the Lake District. It is printed on BFK Rives paper with black Caligo Safe Wash relief ink.
It is one of an open edition, which means that I will re-print more when needed, and is therefore not a numbered, limited edition, although I will not be re-cutting another block once this one is worn out.
The image is approx. 15.5 x 20.5 cm, and the paper size is approx. 25.5 x 28.5 cm
Designed by Mary Parker in Stoke-on-Trent
