Full description
A gorgeous mini sewing tin which comes with fabrics and instructions to make a small number of miniature Suffolk puffs.
When you have finished, you can use the tin to store the Suffolk puffs, until you are ready to use them in your own sewing projects, or just fill the tin with your own sewing accessories to create a mini sewing travel kit.
On the outside of each tin, the top has been decorated with vintage fabric, which has been framed with vintage lace. The inside lid is lined with a piece of antique quilt, which is padded, enabling it to hold a needle (supplied).
The base of the tin has been lined with vintage lace, and then filled with a selection of small pieces of vintage and antique fabric prints, sufficient to cut out 2 or 3 tiny circles (card template provided) to make my signature mini Suffolk puffs/fabric yo-yo’s.
Each sewing tin is then decorated with a tied fabric bow in sari silk or vintage cotton. It has been tied in such a way that it easily slips off to open the tin, and will slip back on, without having to undo the tied knot.
Price is for one tin. As these tins contain vintage fabrics, there may be some minor variations from those seen in the photo’s.
