I began making bookmarks during lockdown as a way of sending something ( ANYTHING!) to friends and family, simply to spread a little happiness in an otherwise awful time for us all.
The bookmark idea grew and grew. Eventually I decided to add messages to them. Birthday Greetings seemed an obvious choice, and were some of the first I made. I now have a range of very pretty, hand made bookmarks with many different messages to offer to you, and this bookmark is just one of them.

A very pretty bookmark, which doubles as a "Thank You" greetings card and is much more useful! The reverse is left plain for your own message. The design is very pretty, using a combination of embossed and hand painted elements. The metallic watercolour adds a beautiful shimmer to each bookmark, especially to the scalloped border
The bookmark has an antique gold faux silk tassel attached.
Please note this is not computer generated art nor is it printed. It is totally hand made by me for you. Each bookmark is made to order therefore may vary slightly from the one illustrated above.
The bookmark is 20 cms x 7 cms, and the reverse is left plain for you to add your own message.
Sustainable packaging is very important to me. Each bookmark comes gift wrapped in recycled tissue and bio-degradable ribbon.( See listing photographs). A recycled envelope is supplied so that you can post it, and it is protected by a recycled and compostable cello sleeve.
I use recyclable letterbox boxes to post your bookmark to you. They are wrapped in Kraft paper and sealed using strong recyclable paper tape.
The price of each bookmark includes Second Class postage to UK addresses.
