I love patchwork and quilting! Browsing in my local fabric shop, I saw this lovely and fun seaside themed fabric and knew that it would be perfect for making a quilted throw. I hope that you agree!

Red, White and Blue Striped Throw Quilt, handmade by myself.
Coastal themed printed fabrics.
Measures 78" (198cm) long x 41" (104cm) wide - suitable for use as a sofa or chair throw or as a single bed topper.
I've used a lovely selection of coastal themed cotton fabrics, including sailing boats, anchors, crabs, lighthouses, stripes and plains in red, white and blue colourways, cut into wide strips. I've pieced the strips and then quilted them across the width, adding a matching white and red spot fabric on the reverse side. All fabrics are 100% cotton.
Finally I added a dark blue binding strip to join the layers together and finish the edges.
This throw quilt is one of a kind and there is only one available.
