My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

'Bullfinch and blossom' is a colourful little artwork that would make a lovely, one-of-a-kind gift for a nature lover.
The painting features a bullfinch sitting among the Spring blossom and has been created with a mix of inks, acrylic paints and pastels. The boho-style border has been made using sections of decorative papers which I've painted with inks and mounted onto card to create a tiled effect.
The artwork comes in an 8 inch white, square mount with a 3.75 inch aperture and is titled and signed on the back.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
