Full description
This lovely boho-style tote bag is made from striped upholstery fabric and is embellished with a decorative hand-stitched appliqué flower. The main fabric has a woven striped pattern in warm shades of golden-brown, beige, cream and brown. The appliqué flower is made from a cheerful mottled yellow print fabric, with a centre of brown fabric with a rustic woven pattern. I’ve hand-stitched the flower in place with a decorative running stitch in stranded cotton embroidery thread. I’ve frayed the edges of the petals and flower centre to give a rustic boho touch. The centre of the flower is decorated with a natural wood button with the words “Handmade with love” and two tiny hearts engraved on it. The bag is lined with pale gold satin fabric, with a woven pattern of tiny diamond shapes.
This delightful boho chic tote bag has a simple but attractive design. It would be handy for all sorts of occasions but, with its boho style, it would be perfect for a festival.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (35cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
