Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
The idea is to create something new from old, found by chance, full of history and character. To present and deliver unique Eco Friendly gifts in Sustainable Packaging.
I love collecting ceramic discarded, lost, forgotten, damaged or just not wanted any more. Favourite places are rivers and beaches, but also find great things at recycling centres and charity shops. I’m lucky to live near the River Tees, Co Durham and often walk the banks picking up broken glass, pottery anything that can be cleaned and re-worked and crafted into something new. Bits and bobs found by chance waiting to find new homes.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

In early 2019 I found a lovely brooch in a charity shop in Darlington, North East. Pretty, eye catching blue glass stones, bright and shiny. Sadly the clasp broke so I decided to experiment with what I could create from broken jewellery.
The metal is soft and slightly pliable, I managed to brake into a few pieces but some of the brooch completely broke beyond use. There was three stand out bits which I was able to smooth to create this jewellery set. The original brooch was a simple design, askew shape, this allows for the earrings and necklace to keep that same feeling but in a different form. The metal of the pendant and earrings shows signs of wear, pretty dark blue glass stones.
The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect. Instead, retain marks, part of the original character.
Pendant measures approximately 17 mm x 14 mm x 2 mm.
Hanging on 44cm Sterling Silver 925 chain.
Each Earring measures approximately 10 mm x 12 mm x 2mm.
Hanging on 925 Sterling Silver hooks.
Approximate drop 25 mm.
Delivered in gift box made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Presented on Jewellery box insert made from tall oil, a by-product of paper production. Sustainable gifts, complete with short bio and gift bag.
