I am inspired by lots of things, mostly nature, mythology, folklore, fantasy art and history. I have always been fascinated with the Otherworld.
I really enjoy creating anything magical and these fairy doors were no exception.
I plan to make more in future.

Full description
This fairy door was handmade by me in my Wiltshire studio. I make my doors from polymer and air dry clay then paint them with acrylics. There are some gilding flakes sprinkled on the steps to give the effect of fallen leaves.

Width: 12.7cm
All my doors are unique in appearance and have my makers mark of my initials on the back of the door.
THIS IS NOT A TOY. As it does have some small pieces, it is not suitable for children.
Please note it has no moving parts and the door does not open and close.
There is a suede patch attached to the base to protect surfaces.
This door is for display indoors only.
My doors are shelf ornaments and as such do not have any fixings. They just sit happily on a shelf.
