Walking in the hills of the Lake and Peak Districts brings back happy memories which I have replicated in the colours and textures of these yarns.

Full description

Another of my larger wall hangings (30" x 25"). This woven wall hanging was inspired by my walking in the Peak and Lake Districts. Beautiful undulating hills covered in heather, grasses and ferns. There is a stone wall dividing the foreground from the hills. Made from various yarns, acrylic, roving, wool, eyelash yarn and frayed cotton cord, the differing textures of these yarns convey a real sense and atmosphere of the hills and trails I've enjoyed walking.

This wall hanging is hung on a wooden dowel, 30 inches wide and the hanging has a total drop (from dowel to bottom including fringe) of 25 inches. The width of the weave itself is approximately 29 inches at its widest point.
