As you'll learn if you read my 'about me' page I've been sewing for many years as well as exploring other fabric art such as weaving and macrame. A few months back I went into a wonderful fabric shop in my local city and just looking at all the wonderful, colourful fabrics made me want to start sewing again. I wanted to create beautiful items, but things that could be used and enjoyed regularly, so settled on bags. I have enjoyed making the ones in this shop so much, and there are many more to come, so do be sure to pop back to check for new creations whenever you can.

Full description
This is a clever bag! At first site it looks like a messenger/shoulder bag with outer zip pocket and a detachable strap but when you unfold the front flap you have the option to use it as a shopping bag with handles - just detach the strap and pop it inside! The bottom section is made from tan faux leather and the outer top section is made using a pretty cream and ochre fern patterned polycotton combination. Just for fun I have given this bag a small polka dot dark ochre lining which works really well as a contrast. A magnetic clasp closes the bag to ensure the flap remains in place when used as a messenger bag and the shopping bag handles can be either folder inside or left on the outside.
Size: when used as messenger bag - approx 12" wide, 10" high. Strap is 36" including clips. When used as a shopping bag: 16" high and 12" wide.
