Across the Hills
This impressionist watercolour captures the quiet charm of Edale, Derbyshire, on a summer’s day. Rolling green hills unfold beneath a shifting sky, their contours softened with washes of translucent colour. In the foreground, a simple wooden stile and drystone wall invite the viewer into the scene, while warm russet and gold grasses sway against cooler passages of violet and green. The composition balances immediacy with atmosphere, offering both the intimacy of a familiar path and the expanse of the surrounding landscape.
Painted with professional watercolours on Canson Moulin du Roy paper, this original work measures 20 x 29 cm. It is presented in a 30 x 39 cm hand-finished obeche wood frame, protected with 2mm clear acrylic glazing to ensure longevity and clarity.
Each piece is individually signed and dated on the lower front right and reverse, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
The artwork is carefully packaged and dispatched promptly via. Royal Mail Small Parcel Tracked 48 for the UK or International Tracked and Signed for Heavier for the USA
