I love making animals out of clay and enjoy painting the glazes to capture the markings. Chaffinches have particularly beautiful markings.

Full description
This little bird measures under 8 cms in length and fits snugly in the palm of your hand. Shaped out of one piece of clay, then dried, fired, glazed and fired again.
I display my birds on large picture frames or beside photos of loved ones.
