I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

These drop earrings feature fordite which has been bezel set in sterling silver and the earrings have been finished off with simple sterling silver hooks. The fordite was cut from the outside of the rough and still features some of the surface 'crust' dimples, they were cut as a sister pair so they don't match but the colour palette and patterning is consistent so they make sense as a pair. The fordite has a pattern of broad swirls (sort of camouflage pattern like) in yellow, silver and black on a white back ground. These fordite earrings measure approx 48mm from top of the hook to the bottom of the drop by approx 18mm wide. Comes in a gift box.
Not come across fordite before? It is layers of cured paint that builds up in spray booths at vehicle factories where the paint misses the panel it is meant for, as painting technology improves and becomes more accurate less fordite is formed. This material is from the Kenworth truck plant in Chillicothe, Ohio. I bought the rough from a guy who works there, he had harvested it when they were doing a clear out in 2018. Love the idea of fordite but want something else - drop me a message, I have a stash of rough from various vehicle factories and since I cut and polish it myself I should be able to make what you want.
