This piece took 3 weeks to make, and it really tested me, but the many, many hours were so worth it.
The Cellini Spiral is made from glass Magatamas and Miyuki glass seed beads. It graduates down in size like a dragon's tail until the spiral ends with green crystals and green glass highlights. The Cellini spiral is so soft and slinky, and while it looks heavy, it remains surprisingly light and easy to wear. It comes fitted with a gold-plated toggle clasp.
The wire-wrapped dragon head is made from tarnish-resistant gold-plated copper wire which will always keep its colour and brightness. It is set with a magnificent Tiger's Eye gemstone donut and features micro-faceted Tiger's Eye gems around the head. The eyes use stunning Carnelian gemstones which glow from its snarling expression.
This is a big necklace, but feels very soft and very light. It is deliberately long, approx 30 inches because I wanted it to drape easily around the neckline and tumble down the front.
