The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect. Instead, retain marks, stains and scratches, part of the original character of the ceramic. All Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
The idea is to create something new from old, found by chance, full of history and character. To present and deliver unique Eco Friendly gifts in Sustainable Packaging.

Additional terms
All finds personally collected from river banks, recycle shops, beaches, wherever dropped, lost or donated. Ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece. Ceramic will show marks, scratches and imperfections, all part of its history and journey.

There’s a lovely spot beside The River Tees, Barnard Castle, Co Durham. The bank is sandy and the water often washes away the top soil exposing all sorts of mudlark finds.
On a sunny August day I came across quite a large shard, chunky and obviously part of a lid. Pretty blue flower design, after a thorough clean I started to work on the piece.
Sadly during the process a lot of the ceramic broke. However, I managed to save the blue flower and create this pendant. Set in a claw bezel made from recycled Sterling Silver. Front glaze in tact with tiny scratches and slight crackle glaze, sides, backs smoothed and sealed with Eco Friendly sealant.
The idea is to create something new from old and use recycled materials to produce unique jewellery. The finished piece isn’t meant to be perfect but instead retain part of the original character, including marks and scratches, all part of the history of the ceramic and materials used.
Set in 18 mm round bezel made from Recycled Sterling Silver.
