I enjoy sketching and designing imaginary dwellings, inspired by fairytales and fantasy art. Whilst carving I often find myself imagining who might like to live inside!

A small hand carved fairy house, ideal for tiny guests, measuring approximately 8cm tall and 5.5cm wide.
This unusual fairy house has been hand carved from silver birch. Parts of the house have been coated with bicarbonate of soda, which brings out the natural colouring of the wood, to highlight areas of relief carving. The fairy house has then been treated with a coating of linseed oil to cure the wood.
The fairy houses and towers I hand carve are all one of a kind pieces, with their own particular character. They make attractive decorations by themselves and also look eye-catching when a few dwellings are placed together to form a small village.
Once purchased, the item will be beautifully wrapped and sent to you in eco-friendly, plastic-free packaging, which is fully recyclable.
