Hi, I'm The Old Button - welcome to my shop and I hope you find lovely things that you would like to buy.
I post every day, using Royal Mail First Class for cards, and Track 24 for all other items, and I can post directly to the recipient - see my Upgrades listings. Dispatch times are currently 1-3 days for most of my makes, with a few taking longer as indicated in the item details.
In the busy run up to Christmas, I'm no longer taking commissions for my embroidered play scenes and my patchwork quilts, but I have gift voucher options. The last day for ordering my custom hand embroidered Christmas stockings and Child's Drawing Pictures is Monday 16th December. For all other items I will be open right up until Christmas week.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
Santa diving into a swimming pool filled with chilled out reindeer - the fabric I used in this hand embellished hoop art picture never fails to make me smile. I think it would make a perfect Secret Santa gift or stocking filler for anyone with a sense of humour, but especially those often hard to buy for men in your life.
But of course, you could just buy him for yourself!
Part of my zero waste approach to crafting, I keep all my off-cuts left over from making my Christmas stockings and turn them into little gifts like this.
After carefully cutting a circle to feature Santa in all his pink-ness, I add a layer of soft wadding before hand embroidering some waves at the pool's edge. I then securely fit the fabric into a Elbese wooden embroidery hoop and hand gather the edges at the back and finish with a circle of pure wool felt neatly blanket stitched all the way round the ring.
Placement of Santa and his reindeer, and the colour of the felt backing will vary.
Size - 5cm diameter, with hanging 3cm ribbon loop for hanging.
Care - dust with a dry cloth or brush
