I started making these cards in the 1990ies mainly to give to friends and family. I was first inspired to make baby cards with little knitted pieces by a line from Psalm 139 in the Bible: "You knitted me together in my mother's womb..." I have perfected them over the years and there are now many designs including little gift tags.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A unique handmade card to welcome a new baby with a little knitted jumper in cream/ off-white wool.
The little knitted jumper is hand knitted by myself with quality yarns and transferred onto my handmade little knitting needles. The text is printed onto bockingford inkjet watercolour paper and mounted onto card. There is a little heart cut-out motif. The card is finished with little wooden pegs. There might be small variations in the colours and positioning as each card is unique and handmade.
Size of card 5"x5" (approx 12.5cm x12.5cm)
The card is supplied with a square cream envelope and is blank inside. Matching gift tags available in separate listings.
