I started making these cards in the 1990ies mainly to give to friends and family. I was first inspired to make baby cards with little knitted pieces by a line from Psalm 139 in the Bible: "You knitted me together in my mother's womb..." I have perfected them over the years and there are now many designs including little gift tags.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A small but unique card 100% handmade new baby card with the greeting in Welsh.
The little knitted jumper has been hand knitted by myself and transferred onto my handmade little knitting needles. The card is covered in gingham paper and finished with a wooden heart button. The text "Babi Newydd" is slightly raised.
Size 4x4 (approx 10cm x 10cm) Supplied with square kraft envelope and blank inside.
Please bear in mind that if posting this card will need to be treated as a large letter despite it's small size due to it's thickness.
