Full description
Hand embroidered with traditional stitches, my retro themed felt bauble would look stunning on a Christmas tree or decorating a beautiful wrapped present. I can also personalise your bauble with a hand embroidered name to the back - creating a very special gift tag or memento.
Based on a retro palette of purple and turquoise, I hand cut the wool felt before accenting the front with embroidery stitches in co-coordinating cotton embroidery threads. I don't follow a stitching pattern, but let inspiration come as I sew each motif and row by hand, meaning each bauble is unique.
A delicate red ribbon is securely sewn under a silver grey felt cap to create the hanging loop, and the bauble is blanket stitched all the way round and lightly stuffed with recycled wadding.
PERSONALISATION: I can hand embroider the name onto the back of the bauble. Please add name in the box.
Approximately 3 inches tall, with a 2 inch hanging loop.
