Like my other 'Infinite Diversity' print, this started out as a birthday gift for my eldest daughter who loves the Angel TV series and has been inspired by this quotation.
Angel, the main character in the TV show, is a heroic vampire with a soul which explains my use of red and black, as well as the cross-shaped typography surrounded by 'stakes' representing difficulty or danger.
For typography geeks, the large 'O' in 'nothing' signifies 'zero' as well as balancing the composition visually, and the letter 'M' re-purposed in the vertical 'Matters' can also be read as the Greek letter Sigma, used in mathematics to mean 'the sum total'.

Full description
'If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do' is a quotation from the TV Series 'Angel', which is a spinoff of the TV series 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer', and this unique print would make an excellent gift for anyone (like me and my daughters) who loves those shows.
This quotation is part of a longer scene in which the 'hero' of the series, Angel, finally realises that "there's no great, glorious end to all this", but "...if there's no bigger meaning, then the smallest act of kindness is the greatest thing in the world."
Printed on A3 size acid-free 220gsm Seawhite paper which I've then screen-printed in black and red. This is a limited edition of 54 prints. Each is signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by me, the artist.
GRADE B versions of this print have printed slightly unevenly (see final image for example). These selected prints are good enough to display, and some may even prefer the character of the uneven ink!
