Having accidentally shrunk my husband's favourite jumper I found that it makes a great fabric to work with.

Full description
This lovely wool stocking is perfect if you are looking for something unique for Santa to fill with festive goodies. As part of our sustainable and waste-free ethos, it has been made from a couple of discarded wool sweater that have been shrunk in the washing machine to make a thick, tactile felt. The body of the stocking is grey and the trim is rust-coloured.
The stocking measures approximately 12cm across at the top and 23cm long from top to bottom. The front has been decorated with hand embroidered snowflakes in white and gold and machine stitched around the edge with a snowflake stitch. The top is trimmed with the sleeve ribbing from another sweater and the hanging loop matches the trim. It is big enough for a handful of lovely goodies but not so big that it's a burden to fill.
Orders are sent using normal second class post unless you choose otherwise. We often use clean, recycled packaging.
