Full description
I blended some high quality black alpaca fibre with some dyed silk in greens and blues and some shiny white bamboo fibre. Then I handspun all these fibres on one of my spinning wheels into a textured designer yarn. I then knitted this wide hairband, headband or earwarmer in a lattice stitch which gives a firm but stretchy fabric ideal for headbands. The edges gently roll under, giving a comfortable fit. All the fibres I used are high quality, soft, smooth and not itchy.
The headband measures 4.5" (12cm) wide and the circumference is 20" (51cm) and will stretch easily to 22" (56cm).
This would be great for skiing. walking, riding, cycling or just as a stylish accessory to keep your ears warm and your hair tidy.
Please be aware that different screens can show colours differently.
As the colours in this item were blended by hand, this headband is unique and cannot be repeated, but I can make these in others colours. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
