HANDMADE STATEMENT NECKLACE
I made this long necklace using two textile techniques. The pendant consists of three
Dorset buttons worked in pale pink and purple cotton thread, embellished with multicolour beads. I made the braid from which the pendant hangs using the Japanese Kumihimo braiding technique, using the same colour cotton thread. There is no fastening as the necklace is designed to simply pass over the head. I have used a nickel-free silver plated cord end to attach the braid to the top button.
This would make a lovely Mothers' Day Gift or birthday gift for a friend or family member.

Inner circumference of necklace - 24" (61 cm)
Total height of pendant inc. tassel - 3" (7.5cm)
