HANDSPUN KNITTED SCARF OR WRAP
Measurements - the long sides each measure 37" (94cm) excluding the tassels
the depth of the centre point is 12" (30.5)
I handspun some beautiful organic Falklands merino wool and space dyed some of it in shades of purple, pink and dark grey and dyed the remainder a light silver grey.
The Falklands merino wool is certified organic as the sheep are not dipped and the fields are not sprayed with nasty chemicals.
This would make a great Mothers' Day gift or birthday gift for a friend or family member.
I then knitted this shawl, scarf or wrap in a modular technique, working one square from the next. I designed it in a V-shape, enabling it to sit comfortably on the shoulders. It can be worn many ways. Please see all the photos.
This item is truly unique as I dyed the yarn and designed it from scratch. It cannot be repeated exactly but I can make similar ones in different colours or sizes. Please feel free to contact me to discuss a custom order.
